Other East Asian Cultures
Overview:
This section covers the remainder of the East Asian cultures which includes Laos, Cambodia, and Burma which are all in the Southeastern part of the region. All three cultures share many similarities with Vietnam and Thailand. The region is heavily influenced by China and then partially by India, France and the United States.
Languages:
Each country has a very distinct language but all have similarities with Vietnam and Thailand. Each language uses traditional Chinese characters and have been heavily influenced by Cantonese, Chiu Chow and Mandarin, all are Chinese dialects. The pronounciation of the languages
Arts and Crafts:
The industry
has a ton of arts and crafts focused on hand made clothes, pottery, woven stitched arts, traditional music, and brush paintings. The countries are all agrarian based and has thousands of villages spread across the vast Southeastern jungles of Asia.
